A card has expired before the next start. What now?
Start with the evidence and the site’s decision, not the colour of a spreadsheet cell. A date flag can reveal an issue; it cannot authorise the worker to enter.

A review you can repeat.
- Confirm the card type, actual expiry and current official result. Do not substitute a test pass date, training booking or application receipt for a valid card result.
- Contact the principal contractor or site manager about the work and their entry requirements. Do not promise that an application in progress or a grace period will be accepted.
- Check the appropriate renewal route with the issuing scheme. Record the date review and plan future checks earlier, then update the register only from checked evidence.
